John 14:1-4

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

This world can be a very troubling place for anyone who lives here. Bad things happen everyday, we never know what to expect, and life is full surprises: some good, most bad. Thankfully, Jesus knew about these many things that could come our way and gave a solution: believe in God, believe also in Him.

No matter what we’re going through or what life throws our way, one thing we can rest assured in is the fact that Jesus is preparing a place for all of us right now, a place where there’s only good surprises, a place with no disappointments, a place void of sadness, a place free from anger, a place where happiness never ends. The best thing about it? We get to live with our Maker forever and forever. So, the next time life gets you down, remember what God has in store and fix your eyes to the heavens because pretty soon, that’s where all of us believers will be :-)
