Proverbs 20:9-11

Who can say, ‘I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin’? Differing weights and differing measures— the LORD detests them both. Even small children are known by their actions, so is their conduct really pure and upright?”

If there’s one thing I’ve come to find that God hates, it’s people who pretend to be someone they’re not. Everyone knows that one person, you know, the one who can do no wrong, the one who knows everything, the one who sits there looking down on all of us sinners like he has no sin?? Yea, I have had firsthand experience with that for as long as I can remember lol. Problem with that is, God hates when things don’t measure up…If you’re not perfect, don’t claim or pretend to be. Better to be humble and honest, then proud and dishonest.
As people, it may be hard to continuously maintain that congruity, but we must try our best because as the scripture says, even small children are known by their actions…so the question is…what do your actions say about you?? It’s definitely something to think about it. And if it doesn’t say something you’re proud of…might be time to go ahead and make that change. You can do it! :-)
