I John 4:7-12

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”

Valentine’s Day! Love is in the air, everywhere!!! But let’s not forget “love” itself and what it means to us. God is love. Nothing could ever sum up God any better. How many people would know what we’ve done, all our faults, all our misgivings, all our flaws and love us anyway to the point where He sends His only son to die and save us?? No wonder love is such a heavenly feeling. Such a strong feeling could only originate from God Himself.
Make it a point to show your love today and everyday, to your family, to your classmates, your loved ones, friends, co-workers, church family, etc. With God’s love in our hearts, there’s no doubt in my mind that we can shine like crazy!!! :D <3
