John 1:5

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not understood it”

How many of you have been in a dark situation? How many of you have prayed about your dark situation? How many of you have ever received clarification about what to do in these situations? How many of you think you never have?
You might think what’s the point, “ASKING ALL THEM QUESTIONS!!!” :D but it all serves a purpose. Many times a lot of think that God doesn’t answer us, but at the same time, you have to ask yourself, how many times has God shown His glory…and we just don’t understand that that’s what it is?
In this scripture, it’s obviously talking about Jesus coming into the world and the world not recognizing who he is; but compare it to your life and consider this: how many times has Jesus stepped into your life and you didn’t recognize it was Him? Even I don’t know the answer to this question. I may have missed it time and time again. But how about making it our goal to be his disciples, specifically Peter? Be the ones that recognize His presence in our lives and recognize who He is? Some of you won’t be able to identify with this analogy, but think about it as not having perfect vision and getting vision correction for the first time! I can almost guarantee you that your life will be much more peaceful and happier at that because it’s a wonderful feeling to come out of the darkness and into the light :-)
